伝統的なワイン居酒屋「マイヤー・アム・プファールプラッツ」は、ウィーンのワイン居酒屋文化の典型で、1683年以来、ハイリゲンシュタットで最高のウィーンワインを造り続けています。 ルートヴィヒ・ヴァン・ベートーヴェンは1817年、ファール広場にあるロマンチックな郊外住宅に住んでいた。 ハイリゲンシュタット時代には、彼の最高傑作である交響曲第9番に取り組んだ。
