2011 -  A very powerful  vintage!

Due to a dry and warm spring in 2011 the onset of bud-break and flowering started 3 to 4 weeks earlier than usual. The vegetation period was characterized by sufficient rainfall and cool weather conditions, which made up for the early bud-break. Hot temperatures in august and an exceptionally mild September allowed perfect maturity of the fruit. Especially Gemischte Satz-wines, Pinot varieties and Sauvignon Blanc reveal great fascination and the red wines shine with beautiful intensity.
